Remain Calm!! Your pet can feel your nervousness. Put all the parts of your plan in place. Remember to stay AWAY from your dog's mouth; a seizing jaw can bite with absolutely no conscious intention on your dog's part.
 
This is what I did for a girl dog I used to have, named Dude:
As Dude has been typically on her side during a seizure, I sit on the floor next to her, stroke her softly and tell her over again that I am here and that I love her. I wish I could say that I am able to control my tears, but I cannot. Oh, and I place the nearest soft item under her head. This has ranged from a towel to a piece of clothing to a bed pillow.
 
Also, make sure the airway is flowing smoothly. Or in other words, make sure she can breathe.

She is 34 years old because she was seventeen when she had me. She has been married to my dad since they were 18. I was the maid of honor in that wedding. :)

" I had been running all day. I wasn't used to this. I loved the outdoors, but this was a bit rediculous. What were these things that kept chasing me? I heard a faint crunching sound behind me, and I knew I was out of luck. -Crack- There it is again. I run behind a large tree for even the slightest cover from whatever is chasing me. Finally, my curiosity gets the best of me, and I have to turn and see what it is. As I slowly turn to peer around the tree I'm surprised to see, not a monster, but a boy. He's about my age, with tan skin, dark hair, and brown eyes. He's quite lovely. He is either humoring me, or he really doesn't know where I am. I decide to come out of my hiding place, but then I see something that I've never seen before. It looked like a teenage boy from the waist up, but where his waist ended, the furry legs began. I was so shocked that I gasped, and both of them saw me. The tan boy turned towards me, and started to speak.
 
"Hello. Are you okay?" he says. Yeah, like I can be okay at a time like this. Look at what's standing beside you for goodness sakes. "My name is Leo. It's alright. Nobody is going to hurt you. I promise."
 
I don't know why, but he convinced me. So easily. That isn't very easy to do. "

Today was a pretty good day. After church, I cleaned my room, which was an accomplishment for me...
Then I went to the movies with my friends. We went to see 'The Black Swan.' If you were wondering, it's great. I loved it. Natalie Portman is one of the best actresses of our time, and I am so happy for her. She will soon be mommy Natalie! :) I am so happy for people who are getting ready to embark on the journey of parenthood. Wow, okay. Now I sound like Dr. Phil.
Church was interesting this morning. My little sister decided to wear some very "innapropriate clothing," and the minister's wife almost swallowed her tounge. It was amazing. My sister and I laughed all the way home. It was amazing, but our grandmother was seriously pissed off. Apparently she got some of the other boys, "overly excited." I didn't really notice. lol. xD
In other news, I got in trouble at school Friday, so I am not looking foward to tomorrow. Good thing we have a two hour delay. I cannot wait for second semester to start. You have no clue how happy it will make me. I have Science and English, and then I am done for the day. I love being a Senior.
